I have had a really good lesson in 'timing'. I use to cringe at the sound of this word when others would tell me.." Asha the timing is off" or " You will know when the timing is right" or "All things must come in the right time". Blah blah blah is all I use to hear. I have a very different view on this topic now.
I have been getting the chance to experience more of what that really means. I think you come to a point in your life where you realize that it really is all about timing. What is timing? Is it when all the stars, planets and moon line up in the heavens above in order for the right thing to occur or for you or someone else to take the action you have been wishing for? Well maybe it is. But for me lately it is about knowing when to engage in something, stand back and wait or just walk the other way. I feel this is a good lesson in becoming humble. Sometimes no matter how badly you want something there is a reason for it to not work out at that time or ever. Embracing that, accepting it and moving on is one of the best actions one can take. I recently have had that lesson come my way on a few different occasions. I have to say at first I was like a spoiled brat inside my head stomping my feet really just wanting it my way. But after giving all the situations at hand.. well I realize that it is all about timing. And in many of the cases recently the timing is just off. It is ok because somewhere around the corner in time, the timing will be very right and I will 'just know.'I have a lot of peace just knowing that in itself.
So still waiting for the right timing on things and until then I am having a lot of fun and making some wonderful memories to laugh upon in my later days :)
Still very much in love and gratitude,
Till next time,
Asha
