(It is rare these days that I have two entries on one day but I just have had alot to write about lately.)
Words and Actions..... ah one of my old favorite subjects to talk about.
Have any of you ever experienced someones words and actions just not matching up? For that matter have you ever done that yourself.. say one thing and totally do something else? Of course we all have done that. For me it is either about being in integrity or not, and yes just like everyone else I fall short many times over.
With a recent situation in my life going on I have been questioning whether people around me are really having integrity with me or not. They say one thing and then do another totally not in alignment with what they say. So what does this mean? Well to me it means there is something that I am not completely aligning my actions and words with either. Yes I always bring it back to me because I do believe those in our life are a direct reflection of what is going on within us. I started realizing today that if I want others actions and words to match, than I better start doing the same as well.
This has been frustrating to say the least and really to face the fact that you are out of integrity.. well let's face it, the Ego doesn't really like that. Our pride can hurt a bit from it. For me it has been a great source of learning, sometimes welcome and sometimes not.
So now what I am evaluating and observing is to see just how much of what someone says really matches his or her action or lack of action. I respect it both, because as I said in my other entry from today.. it really is about timing. And people have their reasons as well for making the decisions they do. But also having integrity in the here and now is just as important.
So for those of you that read this and can relate. Before you point the finger at someone else, take a look at yourself and see if there is somewhere in your life where you are not in alignment and fix that first. You would be amazed of how much of your external experience changes and shifts. Some people even might shift out of your life for a while. It is ok, because it creates the space for something or someone else that is better suited for you and your growth.
I absolutely love life and all its lessons it is handing me at the moment :)
In love and gratitude
Asha
