I have had the subjects of trees on my mind today. I know a little odd but I have a point, I promise.
I was sitting outside today at my lunch break enjoying this beautiful autumn day in Northern Europe when a tree off in the distance caught my eye. I found myself mesmerized by it and intrigued by all of its intricacies. It was fascinating to me! Anyway as my thoughts began to wonder off into a distant land, I began thinking of the likeness we as human beings are to trees over our lifetime. Trees shed their bark throughout the years only to expand and grow further beyond their protective boundaries that no longer serve them. Every fall they drop their leaves to become bare again and then blossom once more in the spring.
Isn't this what we do over our lifetime as well? It is a very similar cycle that we all go through. Some faster, some slower, some resist it and actually have branches die due to lack of proper nurturing and such. Ah just another facet of life that occupies the corners in my mind.
I think I maybe getting too little sun up here.... therefore way too much time to think of such things :)
Back to work I go.
In love and gratitude
Asha
