Dare to Love

“In love, it is better to know and be disappointed, than to not know and always wonder.”

The above quote caught my attention in a recent book I have been reading.

Sometimes as normal human beings, we get so stuck in our fear of not loving or taking a chance in life again and again. We would rather be stuck in the known and only daydream about something that we desire in our lives. Whether it is the dream job, dream house, owning a business, starting a new relationship or whatever it may be. All in all "knowing" something is always more rich in experience than just "wondering" about something. Lots of times our imagination fantasizes and creates things that may not be true about what we are dreaming about. In my experience it is always better to know how things are at face value. You can spend a lifetime wondering around , wondering what if this and what if that. But I say just go for it. So what if you get disappointed by the situation, yourself or by someone else. That is the richness of the experience of life. Live it and love it. Fall in love with your life and embrace the disappointments. For out of those disappointments comes the appreciations of the happy miracles that warm you heart and soul. That makes living all the more enjoyable.
