Life's pleasant surprises

It has been a long time since I have written on my blog. Life has been so busy and the time has just been slipping by lately. I have now been here for almost 7 months and what an experience this has been. My last blog entry was about driving in Europe. That is definitely going better and I have recieved my license to drive here in Europe!!! I am very excited about that because as you all know I love to travel and a license to drive here is just another excuse for me to go driving around the continent.

I wanted to write a short bit about the pleasant surprises life brings us when we least expect it. I have been noticing that through my journey during these last 7 months how easily I have been guided through everything. Sure I have had my frustrations and not so good days. But when I look at it from the big picture the right people have shown up just in the time that I needed them to.

There have been a few particular people along my journey this year that stand out above the rest due to the impact they have made and are making in my life everyday. Even the people that are physically far away from me have a positive effect on me somehow across the miles. I am really grateful for this because being in a foreign country essentially by yourself becomes a bit isolating to a certain degree. And then life starts moving at a faster and faster pace and you just feel like you can't even remember who you are anymore. No doubt the amount of change and transformation that occurs is like no other.

I am still here enjoying myself very much and just learning, growing and experiencing life to its fullest everyday. I intend on sharing more of my experiences with you all and I thank you for your emails. I just have had to take a bit of a "time out" to soak in all that has changed this year and the changes that are yet to come in the next few months that remain in this magnificent year of 2008.

I hope you all are well. And till next time..

In love and gratitude,

Asha

My sincere thanks to LL for sharing his ever growing wisdom and humility.
