Independence Day

I have been off line for a month now with really no excuse other than I have been busy and traveling quite a bit. It is becoming my favorite thing to do lately. Life for me in my new country has turned up a few notches as far as being quite busy. I had the great opportunity to visit Italy a few weeks ago for a professional meeting. Where I was greatly surprised by connecting with an old classmate who I had not seen in 10 years! You can imagine my surprise to see him in Italy of all places. It was good time to catch up and reconnect in the present time.
This last weekend was the 4th of July back home in the USA. I was definitely missing the fireworks, barbecues and hanging out with old friends. I instead spent my weekend in Rotterdam and celebrated my own independence day. It was alot of fun and the city is really a different type city here in the Netherlands. It was very trendy. I spent alot of time on the Harbor, which is HUGE! I walked around the city center and all in all had a great weekend and reflecting on all that has happened over the last 6 months since I moved here. Life is definitely different in a totally new way for me. The experiences I am getting the opportunity to have, the changes that are taking place and the places I am getting to see are remarkable. I am so grateful to be here at this time in my life. I wanted to just check in with everybody that has continued to read my blog. Thank you all for your emails to check in with me. I appreciate it. I have included some pictures from recent trips. I will not be traveling too much over the next month, so will be able to get back to regular posting again.

Till next time!
In love and gratitude,

Asha
