Is there such a thing as wasting time? Can anyone waste your time for you? I don't think they can. We make our own choices on whether we are going to do something or not. If we are giving that into someone elses hands that means we are disempowering ourselves. If we in fact empower ourself and choose actively what we are doing with our 'time' than there is no such thing as wasting time... Well that is how I see it up until this moment. I guess maybe it is time to get more proactive and productive about what I am doing with my time.. Time is precious, whether you spend it relaxing, working or just loafing around. Do it consciously and don't be afraid to sit in limbo or transition for a while. It just might do some good.
In gratitude,
Asha

"Wasting time... bored... arrrgh!"
This entry of yours contains astute observations about choices and time. Here's my 2 cents:
Sometimes we find ourselves unstimulated by the moment we're in or the people we're surrounded by. The greatest mistake we make in those moments is to direct criticism anywhere but on ourselves.
My premier pet peeve is hearing an adult or child say the words, "I'm bored." That statement makes my skin crawl for it's clear intent to exalt the sayer above all those who are in his presence. Every human being has a brain and at least some reasonable access to its faculties, thus has no right to ever utter such a phrase as, "I'm bored."
In my opinion, saying, "I'm bored," casts the sayer a gray shadow of aloof entitlement. It insists that the world, the universe, life itself only exists to meet the sayer's insatiable need for attention and amusement.
The next time you hear someone say, "I'm bored," tell them, "you're wasting my time," and walk away.
Life is an amazing gift of imagination and possibilities. The human brain is the most elegant creation in the universe. No person ever has an excuse for being "bored."
Asha, thank you for your contributions to the Universe. Let me know if you come stateside this holiday season.
Best Regards,

Brad, thanks for your post! Wow, it has been a long time since I heard from you.
Sounds like you are keeping well and still have a strong and solid opinion :) I love it. And couldn't agree with you more.
I won't be coming stateside this year... I wish you a very nice holiday season filled with peace and love.
Be well my friend.
Thanks for keeping on reading the blog.
