The cycles of life

After some very good heartfelt conversations over this last weekend, I have been thinking, reflecting and contemplating alot. I am very grateful for this indeed.

Have you ever noticed the distinctive cycles of life that a person goes through? You have the transition from baby to infant and than off to toddler and than on further to teenager and than shortly thereafter we are considered to be adults. Up till that point we mainly focus on our own path and where we are on it. It is considered to be a little more self centered in some ways. Something interesting happens as you enter your late 20s and early 30s though.... you start to see others around yourself and how they are developing and where they are on their path. You start to care about those that are you surrounding you in a very different way. Let's say for example our siblings or parents. They grow and follow the cycles just as much as we do ourselves. It is sometimes difficult to understand that the cycle of life happens so quickly for all of us. Unfortunately those we love the dearest are not any exception to that natural law. There are so many things to learn along the way and you can honestly feel when one chapter is closing and a brand new one is beginning. It feels and sounds like the closing of a heavy and familiar door only to be welcomed with the sound of the new door slowly creeking open to bring in the new found light to show you the way on your next stop on the cycle of life. Life is really beautiful and it is indeed rather short... so why not make the most out of each and every day of your life. Live it to its fullest.

In gratitude and love

Asha
