Life Is Always a Process

Things have been spinning really fast lately. It has been a while since I have had an entry on my blog and there are alot of good reasons. Life has been one heck of a rollercoaster ride. I have been learning so much about life, love, patience, reality, fantasy, compassion, judgement..... the list goes on and on. I wanted to share a few top things that I have learned over the last few weeks.

1. First you can only be 'where you are'. There is no magic wand you can wave over yourself to make things change. You must accept where you are and you must make that change from within first.

2. There is a great difference between the 'reality' of a situation and the 'fantasy' of a situation. As people we can promise each other the world, but it is always a good idea to keep your feet on the ground so to speak and make sure that what someone is saying matches the reality of what is ACTUALLY happening. Listen to what you are saying to others and what others are saying to you as well. And see if it matches with their actions or are they or yourself playing the victim in saying that you ' can't do something' ... That 'can't' stems from a choice you or someone is making in every moment in time. If you are not choosing a desired outcome.. ask yourself is it something that I really desire???

3. Life is precious. Dont' take it for granted that there will be a tomorrow. Live your life to the fullest Now! It is all we really have.

4. Love alot! Love your life, love your friends, love yourself, love your family, love what is presenting itself in your life. Learn from it all. Love is one of the most powerful actions we can do in our lives.

5. Learn to let go. Letting go of control over others and situations. Learn to let go of responsibilities that are not Yours to take on. Let go of the negativity someone brings into your life. Let go of the anger, sadness, hate, and anything else that is draining your life. For if it drains you mentally.. it will drain you physically as well. And that is when illness occurs unnecessarily.

So those are the main themes that have been playing in my Dutch world! Hope everyone is well and I hope to hear from some of you soon.

In love and gratitude

Asha
