Why do they say that nice people finish last? Is it true in some way? I love to people watch and I can't even begin to tell you how many times I see a very considerate nice man with a demanding woman who doesn't appreciate what this man is doing for her. Of course I see it the other way too... where a man is with a woman who will do everything for her including cut his meat for him at the dinner table while he looks around the room at other 'flowers'.... It is frustrating indeed to witness this type of activity going on around. But I would like to once ask these people, all of them. Do they cherrish the one they love? Do they even love the one they are with? Do they even love themselves to put up with some of these borderline mentally abusive treatments?
I encourage all of you that have special people in your life to show an ounce of gratitude for all they do and all they are. Sure we all have our faults, however that is what makes us unique too. Tell someone this week how much you appreciate them in your life and watch the genuine smile within their hearts shine. Who knows you might just feel good about cherrishing the people in your life rather than beating them down....
