Well I am back in the lowlands officially today. And what a beautiful surprise to enter a magical winter wonderland with fresh snow on the ground and the feel of winter definitely in the air. Happy New Year to everyone. I hope all is going well as we are on day 5 of this adventuresome year. I am amazed at how much has occurred in such a short amount of time. I had a wonderful time visiting family, old and new friends. I was pleasantly surprised by the enriching conversations that I had the opportunity to have. I did not return this January the same person that is for sure. I have alot to write about and say but right now I need to unpack, get some rest before I go to work tomorrow and just reflect on all the magic that surrounds me in the past, present and future. This life is truly a gift.
