Beautiful Lunar Eclipse

I absolutely love star gazing and seeing any other kind of celestial events, whether in the sky or on the ground :) I set my alarm clock for almost 4am my time to wake up to see this beautiful event. It was absolutely magical to me. I went out on my back balcony and sat down with a cup of hot tea and just gazed up in the sky. The only thing that I missed was my telescope, which I had to leave back in the states. It appears to me that the sky is clearer up here than I remember in Texas. I think it is a combination of being so far north on the planet and lower pollution in the air. Nevertheless, it was breathtaking and I hope you all had the opportunity to view it. I always feel a little different after witnessing such a wonder. I feel so small compare to other things in the world and somehow feel even more connected to others. All my insignificant problems or what I think are problems just fade into the background of witnessing such a sight. Appreciating the world around us in all its beauty is an important thing to do every once in a while, in my experience.

Well I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. My prayers go out to the Rhodes family for their loss this past week. My prayers and love are with you all in your time of loss. Wish I could be closer to you, just know I am there in spirit.

Till next time..

In love and gratitude

Asha
